MP for Fokida (Phocis)<\/b><\/h2>\n

He was born 21.10.1964 in Amfissa (Fokida).<\/span><\/p>\n

He is an Attorney at Law, graduated from the University of Athens Law School (granted a State Scholarship - 1987). He completed the post graduate studies and possesses a doctoral degree (PhD) in Civil Procedural Law (University of Athens).<\/span><\/p>\n

PROFESSIONAL CAREER<\/i><\/strong><\/h4>\n

  • Lawyer of the State Legal Service (1990-1995).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Legal Advisor of the Fokida Chamber of Commerce and Industry (1992-2004).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • He has been practising the profession of lawyer since 1989 and is authorized since 1999 to appear before the Greek Supreme Court of Cassation and Conseil d' Etat.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    He is the founding partner of Law Offices in Amfissa and Athens (\u201cIOANNIS D. BOUGAS & ASSOCIATES\u201d) and has handled numerous cases at courts of every instance. He is also an accredited mediator (\u201cFacilit-8\u201d, Athens Bar Association Mediation Center), certified by the Ministry of Justice.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Legal publications: \u201cThe adjudication of \u2018not genuine interim measures\u2019 related to the interim proceedings\u201d (publ. \u201cNB\u201d, 2015) \u2013 Collective works: \u201cState - Security and the role of Information Services\u201d (publ. \u201cPoliteia\u201d), \u201cThe Lisbon Treaty\u201d (publ. Hellenic Parliament).<\/span><\/p>\n

    He is a founding member of the Greek Association of Civil Law, member of the International Association of Lawyers (\u201cUIA\u201d) and the Association of Procedural Law and has participated\u00a0in legal conferences, congresses\u00a0and meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n

    He was elected Member of Parliament for Fokida in 2004, 2007, 2019 and 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n
